“Reactions as Court reserves judgment on Bobrisky until April 9.”
Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos has set April 9 as the date for the judgment on Bobrisky’s case. Bobrisky, who pleaded guilty to four charges of Naira abuse, will remain in EFCC custody until the judgment. The court dismissed charges of money laundering. During his arraignment, Bobrisky asked for leniency, expressing remorse and promising to educate his followers on the consequences of Naira abuse. However, the judge reminded him that ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
