Singer Davido sues his babymama Sophia Momodu for custody of their daughter, Imade.

Afrobeats superstar Davido has taken legal action against his first babymama, Sophia Momodu, seeking custody of their daughter, Imade. Filed by his lawyers at the Lagos State High Court, the suit requests joint custody or, alternatively, unrestricted access to Imade.

In the supporting affidavit, Davido detailed his financial support, including school fees, rent, a luxury apartment offer, vehicles, and living expenses. He claims Momodu has made excessive demands and frustrated his efforts despite his significant contributions.

Davido and Momodu have a history of conflicts, with past disputes including the issue of Imade’s surname.
