Renowned Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has revealed that her leaked sex tape, which went viral in 2021, was actually the result of a bet.
The disclosure comes four years after the incident sparked widespread controversy on social media.
It was gathered that the video, which was recorded by her boyfriend without her knowledge, got leaked after she refused to pay the blackmailer.
However, speaking during her latest interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’, Savage disclosed that the leaked sex tape was circulated by her then boyfriend as part of “a bet”.
The singer said she was betrayed.
“I actually did that with my boyfriend. He said he accidentally pressed sent when he was trying to save it. But I later found out that it was a bet with his friends,” she said.
