Toke Makinwa reportedly ties the knot
Popular social media personality and TV host, Toke Makinwa, has reportedly tied the knot with her long-time friend and partner, Farouk Umar, in a private ceremony held in Lagos.
Photos capturing the beautiful event found its way on social media page, leaving fans celebrating with joy, as many nay sayers taunted her that no man would marry her because of her “lifestyle”.
Toke Makinwa broke down in tears as she appreciated God at her thanksgiving service after the wedding.
She thanked God for not looking at her or judging her the way the world judges her. She said God saw her through a divorce at a time when she thought she was going to die.
Recall that Toke Makinwa and Maje Ayida a fitness entrepreneur, got married in 2014, but the two later got separated in 2015 after Toke Makinwa discovered that he had impregnated his ex-girlfriend.
However, it was reported that the 39-year-old TV personality found love in her longtime friend and they got later married in a private ceremony.
In a series of pictures shared online, Toke donned in an elegant and simple white gown and she matched outfits with Farouk who rocked a beautiful traditional Agbada.
Although neither Toke nor Farouk has confirmed the marriage publicly, many netizens have already started sending their congratulations.
