CCTV footage from the hotels captured officials breaking into the manager’s room where they reportedly pushed and slapped her before taking personal items from a drawer. Background voices in the video suggest accusations of theft against the officials. It’s noted that the hotels’ management installed cameras in staff areas to prevent misconduct but did not place cameras in bathrooms.

The incident has sparked significant controversy and calls for investigation into the conduct of the EFCC officials involved.
