Ms Lami Calista, the mother of reality TV star, Ilebaye Odiniya, has denied claims that Ilebaye has never been of financial assistance to her father.
Ms. Lami disclosed during in an interview with LIB that the real reason for his anger is Ilabeye’s refusal to give him the entire cash price.
She also explained that contrary to his claim, Ilebaye has sponsored his medical trips to India and has spent nothing less than N35 million on him.
She said, ‘’When Ilebaye came out of the house, she gave the father N7m when he was going for his treatment in India. This was in 2023.”
“Even when he was going last year, she gave him N5 million as well. The father still called and said the money wasn’t enough. Ilebaye had to send extra N3 million to him. That is asides the N1 million she gives to him’’
Additionally, She revealed that Ilebaye covers her two younger brothers’ education expenses, which total millions of Naira.
She further clarified that Mr. Odiniya lied about Ilebaye giving her brother drugs which led to him getting expelled from school
She said, ‘’The father just lied on this innocent boy and for people to be using one kind of eye to be looking at this innocent child, just because he wants to spoil the name of his daughter.

Her statement comes following Mr. Odiniya’s claims over the viral assault he took on his daughter.
The father claimed that his daughter’s altered behaviour after winning the reality TV show was the reason behind the incident rather than hatred.
He said, “I want to put the records straight that what led to that incident was not that I don’t love my daughter. She is one of my best children.”
Mr. Odiniya father further criticised her lifestyle, particularly her alleged cosmetic procedures.
