Former presidential candidate Peter Obi visited Kado-Kuchi in Abuja on Monday to campaign for African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidates ahead of the upcoming Federal Capital Territory (FCT) council elections.

The polls for the election of chairmen and councillors across the FCT area councils are scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026. A video obtained by our reporter showed a large crowd gathering to welcome Obi in the area.
They were heard chanting slogans and expressing support for the ADC.
Voices in the crowd could be heard repeatedly saying, “Our vote must count!”
The campaign is aimed at mobilizing voters in communities across the ahead of the polls.
