The Taraba State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that only fully registered members who obtained their membership cards through the party’s e-registration exercise will be allowed to participate in its upcoming primary elections.

The Taraba state chairman, Abubakar Bawa, made this clarification over the weekend in Jalingo while receiving two House of Representatives aspirants at the party’s state secretariat.
Bawa called for peaceful conduct among aspirants and urged party members to remain united as the APC prepares for success at all levels in the 2027 general elections.
He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent process for all members aspiring to elective positions.
According to him, all aspirants are expected to take their campaigns to the grassroots and directly engage with voters.

He further assured that under his leadership, the APC party would continue to promote justice, fairness, and equal opportunity for all contestants.
The Taraba APC aspirants who visited the secretariat are contesting to represent the Ardo-Kola/Lau/Karim-Lamido Federal Constituency and the Sardauna/Kurmi/Gashaka Federal Constituency respectively.
