Atiku meanwhile, is contesting the presidential ticket with Peter Obi, former Transport Minister, Amaechi and former Kano governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Speaking during the interview, Atiku downplayed the importance of Tambuwal and Kwankwaso in the North. He also limited Amaechi’s strength to the South-South, and restricted Obi’s base of support to the South-East.
