The OK Movement, a newly formed political pressure group, is actively pushing for the proposed Obi/Kwankwaso presidential alliance.

The group brings together supporters of former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso. Meanwhile, Peter Obi is reportedly seeking the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), while Kwankwaso is being considered as a potential running mate in the emerging arrangement.

Adefolaseye, in a post on her X handle on Monday night, accepted the appointment, stating that she is ready to “lead this task with dedication”.

Adefolaseye wrote, “By the grace of God, I wholeheartedly accept this responsibility on behalf of Nigerians in the region.

“I appreciate the faith and capacity you have seen in me, and I am ready to lead this task with dedication. I call on all Nigerians in the Southwest, from the state to the local government to the ward levels, to join the OK movement.

“Together, we can stand as one united in voice and purpose to bring forward the leadership of H.E Peter Obi and H.E Rabiu Kwankwaso.

“At this crucial moment, their vision represents the most suitable and effective path for Nigeria. We truly believe Nigeria will be OK”.
