BREAKING: Governor Peter Mbah officially dumps PDP for APC

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah formally left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a televised address on Tuesday, Governor  Peter Mbah announced his defection.

He said, “Today, after a long reflection, we have made the decision to leave the Peoples Democratic Party and join the All Progressives Congress.”

According to Governor Peter Mbah, he joined the PDP in order to change Enugu and reorganise the political system in the state.

“This concerns our values, how we organize ourselves politically and how we secure the future of our project and our people.

His defection comes only days after PDP chieftains stated that the governor was yet to officially inform them of his exit from the party.
