Iran has sent a chilling warning to US President Donald Trump to ‘be careful not to be eliminated’ after he said he did not believe the regime’s new Supreme Leader can ‘live in peace’.

Before threatening Iran’s new leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, Donald Trump had warned the country to prepare for “death, fire, and fury” for keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed.

He warned Iran that he would have the last say over their leader and told Fox that the new Supreme Leader would not be able to “live in peace” and that he was “not happy with the appointment.”

However, the regime’s security chief Ali Larijani dismissed Mr. Trump’s comments, claiming Iran ‘is not afraid of your empty threats’.

He added, ‘Even those greater than you could not eliminate the Iranian nation. Take care of yourself not to be eliminated!’

Larijani’s statement comes just days after an Iranian agent was found guilty of trying to kill Mr. Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign.

National security experts informed Mr. Trump’s campaign that Iran had several murder teams inside the United States and was targeting him.
