Chance for Kaduna Youths: NDE Opens Registration for New Hope Employment Program!
Good news for unemployed young people in Kaduna State! The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has started registering youths for a special program called the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI). This is a big effort by the Federal Government to help tackle unemployment and empower Nigerians with skills and opportunities.

The registration period began on July 28 and will continue until August 11, 2025. So, if you’re an unemployed youth in Kaduna, this is your window of opportunity!
Who Can Apply? Everyone!
According to Mr. Francis Ambianto, the NDE State Coordinator in Kaduna, this initiative is open to all unemployed individuals, no matter their educational background. He emphasized, “Skills acquisition does not have barriers. Whether you are a graduate, school dropout, or never attended school, you are eligible.” This is a refreshing approach, focusing on potential and practical skills over formal qualifications.
Over 600 young people in Kaduna State are expected to benefit from this second phase of the RHEI, which aims to help a total of 21,782 Nigerians nationwide.
How to Apply and What to Expect:
If you’re between 18 and 40 years old, you can register online by visiting www.nde.gov.ng. Mr. Ambianto made it clear that the selection process will be strictly based on merit, meaning personal connections won’t play a role. Beneficiaries will be chosen from a central online portal managed by the NDE Headquarters in Abuja, ensuring fairness and transparency. The first phase of this initiative was very successful, and the NDE is optimistic this second phase will be even better.
