The Senior Special Adviser on Publicity and Communication to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, Lere Olayinka, has described the military officer who blocked the minister’s access to a parcel of land in Abuja on Tuesday as unruly.
Lere Olayinka made this remark on Wednesday during an interview on Channels Television’s “Sunrise Daily”, as monitored.

He was responding to the reported clash between Wike and some Nigerian Navy personnel over the disputed land in the FCT.
It was reported that Minister and some officials of the FCT Authority, FCTA, on Tuesday clashed with soldiers in Abuja over access to a land.

“Yesterday the Minister called the Chief of Defense Staff, CDS, before he left his office. Even when he got to the place, he still called the CDS as you may have seen from the video and have his phone to that unruly officer and there was no sign that he was talking to the CDS.
“He was normal talking to the CDS and I saw arrogance in him that yesterday. The military officer was unruly. He was arrogant; he referred to fellow uniformed men as bloody policemen.
“He was saying I am a commissioned officer. You can’t talk to me like that and the policemen also got angry. How can you s uniform man be ridiculing your fellow uniform people,” Wike’s aide asked.
