MAPOLY Launches Nigeria’s First 10Gbps Smart Campus Network to Boost Digital Learning and Innovation

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has taken a major step towards transforming higher education in Nigeria with the unveiling of what is being described as the country’s first dedicated 10 Gigabits per second smart campus fibre network.

The project marks a significant investment in digital infrastructure, positioning the institution among the country’s emerging leaders in technology-driven education. The high-speed broadband network is expected to improve internet access across the campus, strengthen digital teaching and learning, support research activities and provide students with access to modern technological tools.

The smart campus initiative was developed through a partnership involving the institution and the Advanced Technological Incubation and Research Centre (ATIRC). It represents an effort to prepare students for an increasingly digital economy while creating an environment where innovation can flourish.
