A chieftain of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has praised the large number of supporters who gathered at his residence in Kano on Monday.
The supporters reportedly marched to Kwankwaso’s residence in a solidarity rally to express support for his reported vice-presidential ambition.
Reacting to the development in a post shared on his official Facebook page, the former Kano State governor expressed pleasure at the massive turnout.

According to Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, he was delighted to receive the supporters, who came out in large numbers during the solidarity walk to his residence.
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso also appreciated them for the show of support and encouraged them to channel the enthusiasm into active political participation by registering to vote ahead of the upcoming elections.
Reports have linked Kwankwaso to a possible vice-presidential role alongside frontline NDC presidential aspirant Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 elections.
