Checks by a correspondent on Thursday revealed that filling stations operated by NNPCL in Abuja are now selling petrol at N835 per litre, down from the previous N915, reflecting a N80 reduction.

This latest adjustment follows earlier price reviews by other marketers, including MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano, who had reduced their pump prices to between N739 and N865 per litre across the Federal Capital Territory.

The price drop comes on the heels of Dangote Refinery and depot owners cutting their ex-depot prices to a range of N699 to N800.

It will be recalled that NNPCL and other filling stations had also reduced fuel prices earlier on December 4 and December 10, 2025, respectively.
