Notorious bandit leader Alhaji Sani Yellow has resurfaced in another viral video on TikTok, this time promoting and selling what he claimed to be a charm oil.
The latest appearance comes just days after the wanted bandit released a video dismissing reports that he had been killed during a security operation in Zamfara State.
In the new clip, which was shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday by a user identified as Mobilisingnigerians, Sani Yellow is seen displaying a bottle resembling a Coca-Cola container while advertising the oil. He claimed the substance possesses multiple uses and promoted it to viewers, although he did not provide any scientific evidence to support his assertions.
The video has since sparked fresh reactions on social media, with many users expressing concern over the bandit leader’s continued public appearances despite ongoing security efforts to apprehend him.
Accompanying the video, the X user wrote: “OSINT: Alhaji Sani Yellow, the notorious bandit leader who posted a video on Tiktok 3 days ago, has now posted a new video, this time he has turned a charm seller, asking people to buy a oil in the Coca-Cola bottle, that it works for everything.”
The latest video comes shortly after Sani Yellow released another clip refuting reports that he had been killed during a recent security operation in Zamfara State.
The earlier claims had emerged after a bandit commander known by the nickname “Yellow” was reportedly killed during the operation. However, according to a previous post by the same X user, the slain commander was allegedly a different individual affiliated with a notorious bandit leader identified as Gwaska, and not Alhaji Sani Yellow.
As of the time of filing this report, security agencies have not officially verified the authenticity of the latest TikTok video or responded to the claims made by the wanted bandit leader.
BACKSTORY:
The emergence of another video featuring Alhaji Sani Yellow comes amid ongoing security operations targeting armed bandit groups operating across Zamfara State and other parts of Nigeria’s North-West.
Sani Yellow is widely known as one of the region’s most notorious bandit leaders and has been linked to violent attacks, kidnappings, and other criminal activities that have fueled insecurity in the area. Over the years, bandit groups have carried out deadly raids on communities, abducted residents for ransom, and attacked security personnel, prompting repeated military offensives aimed at dismantling their networks.
Recently, reports circulated on social media claiming that Sani Yellow had been killed during a security operation in Zamfara State after authorities announced the death of a bandit commander nicknamed “Yellow.” The reports generated widespread reactions, with many believing the notorious kingpin had finally been neutralised.
However, the claims were later disputed when Sani Yellow appeared in a video denying that he had been killed. According to posts shared online, the bandit commander killed in the operation was allegedly another individual who also bore the nickname “Yellow” and was said to be a loyalist of another notorious bandit leader identified as Gwaska, rather than Alhaji Sani Yellow.
Just days after dismissing the death reports, Sani Yellow resurfaced in another TikTok video, this time promoting what he described as a charm oil. In the clip, he was seen displaying a bottle resembling a Coca-Cola container while claiming the product had multiple uses. The video has sparked fresh reactions online, with many questioning how the wanted bandit continues to appear openly on social media despite ongoing efforts by security agencies to apprehend him.
As of the time of reporting, Nigerian security authorities have not officially confirmed the authenticity of the latest video or commented on the claims made by the bandit leader.
