According to the ‘Wo’ hitmaker, it is impossible for a successful person — or anyone striving for success — to avoid being criticised.

He added that the best way to handle criticism is to stay focused on one’s goals and ambitions.

Speaking in a recent livestream, the rapper said, “If you want to blow or be great in life and you don’t want people to talk about you, then you’re not ready. People will come for you and chat sh*t about you, it’s now left for you to be focus.”

Recall that Olamide Adedeji recently came under heavy criticisms after he declared Wizkid as the “greatest Afrobeats artist after Fela.”

Some music fans, especially fans of Burna Boy and Davido, not only disagreed with him, but also chastised him over his bold declaration.

Responding, Olamide Adedeji argued that it was solely his opinion and no reasonable person should let someone else’s opinion define their greatness.
