Omokri publicly challenged Obi to comment on Ekpa’s conviction, questioning his silence.

In a post on X, Omokri also condemned Obi for swiftly reacting to a separate incident involving Fuji musician K1 De Ultimate and ValueJet, while remaining silent on a matter he considers far more significant.

Omokiri wrote: “If Peter Obi is bold enough to talk about Simon Ekpa’s conviction today (not tomorrow), the way he QUICKLY spoke about the incident involving K1 De Ultimate, AKA King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, whose arrests and prosecution he called for, I will give everything I am wearing here to one random follower. Tick tock. The clock is ticking.”
