This comes after earlier reports indicated that Nigeria, along with several other countries around the world, would experience the eclipse on that date.
Confirming the development, many Nigerians noted that they spotted the lunar eclipse on Sunday.
Bode Moore wrote on X, “What a beautiful view! God is great.”
Another X user in Lagos, Asiwaju Arowopoko, also confirmed the sighting of the lunar eclipse.
It was reported that the eclipse lasted for 83 minutes amid excitement from Nigerians.
