Sin behind Nigeria's current condition- PFN president reveals
Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), has expressed that sin is the reason for the current state of the country.

As he answered questions from reporters yesterday upon his arrival at the Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, for a conference commemorating the organization’s 40th anniversary in the state, Bishop Oke made this claim.

He bemoaned the nation’s poverty and the deteriorating economic and security conditions brought on by skyrocketing inflation, and he asked for God’s light to shine through the nation.

PFN President says Sin is responsible for current state of the nation

In his words, “The theme of the conference: “PFN Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’, is relatively talking about Nigeria: what we can say God has done, what God is doing and how we can re-engineer our faith to manifest the will of God on earth.

“Nigeria needs definite intervention and such can only come from God Almighty. Things cannot continue like this. How God is going to do it is in his hands because He is involved. For entrusting the leadership of PFN into our hands; we have the duty to deliver the nation.

“It is iniquity that has brought Nigeria to where it is today. Violent killings, banditry, kidnapping are evil and are the works of the devil. PFN is bringing the light of God. The Bible says that when the light shines in darkness, darkness cannot comprehend”

“I want to assure you that there is light for Nigeria. It will be better. Let us join our hands together and call on God, believe His words and His Prophets and God will shed the light on the nation.

“He has said in His words: if my people that are called by my name, will humble themselves and seek my face, I will hear from heaven and heal their land. Nigeria needs healing and that is why we are here. We will pray and God will hear us and will heal Nigeria”, he added.
