Nigerian businessman and socio-political commentator, Isaac Fayose, has reacted angrily to allegations linking the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the alleged diversion of over N800 billion from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC).
The controversy followed claims by the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which recently accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC governors of misappropriating more than N800 billion, allegedly to fund the President’s re-election bid.
The opposition party further alleged that the reported financial dealings have caused division within the Progressive Governors Forum.

Reacting in a video shared on his official Facebook page, Fayose described the allegations as disturbing, insisting that such misuse of public funds is responsible for the underdevelopment seen in many states across the country.
Isaac Fayose called on Nigerians to be more vigilant and consider voting out the APC government in 2027.
Isaac Fayose said: “You see them sharing rice and envelopes during campaigns. They are using your own money to bribe you. They said 32 APC governors contributed N800 billion for Tinubu’s re-election. This is sad. What is remaining now is for them to sell Nigeria and share the proceeds amongst their own family.
“If you allow this APC government to come in again, things will be worse. This is why your state is underdeveloped.
Nigerians, it is time to wake up.”
