Nigerian TikToker, Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as Sea King, has criticised Ibadan-based Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, over the recent wave of attacks and abductions in Oyo State.
In a video posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Sea King reacted to the abduction of teachers and students from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, which occurred on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Reports indicate that on May 17, 2026, the kidnappers allegedly beheaded one of the teachers, identified as Michael Oyedokun, and circulated the footage online alongside another video showing the school principal pleading with authorities to negotiate with the gunmen for the victims’ safety.
Reacting to the incident, Sea King questioned Sunday Igboho’s silence despite his earlier promises to tackle banditry and insecurity in Yorubaland.
Describing Igboho’s silence as “politics,” the TikToker stated that “silence after a presidential pardon is not bravery.”
Calling out the activist directly, Sea King said: “Where is Sunday Igboho now? You said nobody should campaign in Yorubaland except Tinubu. You promised to eradicate the Fulani attackers killing people in the region. Why are you silent now? They have taken over Yorubaland.
“You vowed to wipe out bandits and claimed you would lead 50,000 men. Now that you are back in Yorubaland, the killings have continued. So where is the action? Silence after a presidential pardon is not bravery, it is politics.”
The remarks come about three months after President Bola Tinubu reportedly removed Igboho’s name from the Federal Government’s wanted list.
Igboho recently returned to Nigeria after spending nearly five years outside the country following the July 2021 raid on his Ibadan residence by operatives of the Department of State Services during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari over his Yoruba Nation agitation.
