“Police Detain 50 Hoodlums in Katsina Protest”
The Katsina State Police have arrested 50 suspects during protests against economic hardship. According to the state’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, no fatalities were reported, and the situation has since been brought under control. Youths were observed vandalizing public properties, including street lights, solar panels, and poles. Security has been reinforced in the area.
