2027 Elections in Jeopardy? Prof Jinadu Sounds the Alarm
The national political elite has started the rigging process of the general 2027 elections, as cited on vanguard newspaper. Prof Jinadu said.
Stating this he addressed at the policy dialogue on state of anti corruption policy and pratice in Nigeria.
The Professor of Political Science said very prominent poltical party members were been appointed as commssioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
In his words : “They have started the process of rigging the next general election through the appointment of known party members. Next year, many commissioners will be due for re-appointment. They will use the power of appointment to put those who will do their bidding.
” He said Vote buying is done through procurement, the are amazing war chest for 2027. He suggested that EFCC should go to party primaries where they give huge amounts, not only in dollars to buy party tickets, instead visit the poor place where N2000 are given.
He stated that Nigerians have been deceived for long, the real battle has begun, we are at a very critical point in time,and that time is running out.
“You must fight for the future. We should not just fold our arms doing nothing. I am not tired of fighting. We must give not give up. We must speak truth to power.”
