Miyetti Allah, a legitimate pastoralist organization, has expressed concern over the killings of its members in the South-East, accusing indigenous security outfits of being behind the violence. Gidado Siddiki, the group’s National Deputy Director-General, emphasized their innocence in recent incidents and urged thorough investigations to bring the perpetrators to justice. He highlighted the loss of lives and cattle in Anambra and Enugu States and called for fair treatment and support from local authorities. Siddiki emphasized the need for distinguishing between genuine pastoralists and criminal elements, urging collaboration to address security challenges.
