AA apologizes to INEC Chair, urges him to ignore faction’s claims.
The Action Alliance (AA) has requested that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) disregard the claims of the Rufai Omoaje faction, insisting that Chief Kenneth Udeze is the rightful National Chairman. In a letter signed by Udeze and addressed to INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the party pointed out that multiple court rulings, including those from the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal, affirm Udeze’s leadership. The AA also accused Omoaje’s group of attempting to mislead and blackmail INEC, urging the commission not to recognize Omoaje’s claims, as his appeal lacks merit.
