The Adamawa State Government is preparing to interview 8,196 shortlisted candidates for 4,000 available positions in the state civil service.
These candidates of Adamawa State were selected from a pool of 52,003 applicants who took part in a computer-based test earlier this month, following the elimination of over 40,000 from the initial 93,000 applications received after the call for applications in April.
The final stage of the recruitment process a screening interview will commence on Thursday, August 28, starting with candidates who hold degree qualifications.
All candidates are expected to gather in Yola for the interviews from the 21 local government areas of the state.
Of those selected for the interview, the highest number, 589, are from Hong LGA, followed by 583 from Michika and 579 from Yola North.
The lowest number, 187, comes from Toungo.
