The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State have engaged in a war of words regarding the performance of Senator Ademola Adeleke.
The Osun State chapters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) are at odds regarding Governor Ademola Adeleke’s performance.
The APC, through its state chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, accused Adeleke of governing impulsively due to alleged incompetence. According to the party’s director of media, Chief Kola Olabisi, Lawal criticized Adeleke for not adhering to state executive meeting schedules and for allegedly distributing federal fuel subsidy palliatives without consultation.
In response, the PDP described the APC’s statement as desperate and based on falsehoods. State chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi, defended Adeleke’s performance, citing achievements and positive recognition from various sectors. He urged the opposition to acknowledge Adeleke’s accomplishments rather than resorting to propaganda.
