Human rights activist Annkio Briggs stated that not everyone in Rivers State remains forever grateful to President Bola Tinubu.

Briggs made the comment during an interview on Sunday Politics, a programme on Channels Television.
Briggs was responding to the suspension of the six-month state of emergency imposed on Rivers State.
When asked if she was as thankful to President Bola Tinubu as Governor Fubara, the human rights activist said, “Definitely not. I think the president himself will be aware that not everybody in Rivers State will be eternally grateful to him.

“As a stakeholder and elder, I feel very let down by the PDP because since 1999 we have voted for the party. I feel that if they had stepped in and done what they should have done right from the beginning, the PDP would not find itself where it is today.”
