The late former president Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, Hanan Buhari, has expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their forgiveness of her father.
The former Nigerian leader passed away on Sunday, July 13 at a London facility following an undisclosed protracted illness, according to reports.
According to reports, Buhari had been fighting an unidentified illness and had just been released from critical care before his condition worsened.

Recall that he was buried at his residence in Daura, Katsina state, on Tuesday.
However, social media has seen a range of responses to his passing, including both praise and criticism.
In a recent interview with BBC Hausa, Hana revealed that her father’s sense of humour was the quality she would miss the most.

Although her father’s passing is painful, Hana said she has accepted it as God’s decision and thanked everyone for their forgiveness.
“What I will miss most about him is his sense of humour. I look up to him as a part of me. I want to thank everyone who forgave my late father.
“On behalf of our family, we are grateful. We have nothing to say to them except thank God. He disciplined me to study, pray, and do things that made us happy.
“That is what I can say. But since Allah has decreed it, Alhamdulillah, I had the chance to be with him and read the Qur’an to him,” she said.
