Ganduje: Protests Over Policies Not Unique to Nigeria.
Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), addressed the ongoing protests against government policies in Nigeria. During a meeting with APC leaders from the United States in Abuja, Ganduje emphasized that such challenges and protests are not unique to Nigeria, noting that even developed countries face similar issues.
Ganduje acknowledged that, as a developing country, Nigeria experiences its share of difficulties, which are common during times of reform. He assured that the current challenges would be overcome and that President Bola Tinubu’s reform efforts are aimed at securing the country’s future.
Ganduje also highlighted the need for strong institutions to implement effective policies and expressed confidence that Nigeria would soon see positive results from Tinubu’s economic strategies.
The APC U.S. delegation, led by Prof. Adesegun Ladejo, expressed their support for Tinubu and the party’s leadership despite the ongoing challenges and discouragement from some diaspora members. Ladejo emphasized their commitment to the party and the country, stating their visit was meant to strengthen ties with the national leadership and show unwavering support.
