The Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar Namadi, has officially signed into law the bill establishing the State Hisba Board, thereby providing it with the legal framework necessary for effective operation.

The signing took place on Tuesday at the Council Chambers of the Government House in Dutse, the state capital.
Governor Namadi noted that the process, which began eight months ago, has now been concluded to ensure the Board functions with full legal authority.
According to Governor Namadi, “We have signed into law the Hisba Bill, which establishes the Hisba Board as an official institution in Jigawa State.”
He expressed hope that its operations would bring greater social order and moral discipline to the state.
Governor Namadi urged Hisba personnel to conduct their duties with the fear of Allah, fairness, and dedication.
Namadi also commended the Hisba Board Establishment Committee for their outstanding commitment, hard work, and sacrifice.
