Senator Kabiru Marafa has labeled President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a use-and-discard leader.
Kabiru Marafa, who recently declared his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC), made this assertion during an interview on Channels Television on Monday.
The former lawmaker pointed to the situation involving former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai as a clear example of his claim.
According to him, based on El-Rufai’s experience, it is now clear to everyone that Tinubu can only use people and then discard them.
“Looking at the treatment of El-Rufai, the treatment of Ganduje, and the treatment of me, we are now convinced that Mr. President (Tinubu) is a ‘use and dump leader,’” he said.
In a recent interview, El-Rufai said that 30 million Nigerians have fallen into poverty and agriculture has been destroyed under President Bola Tinubu.
“The one that is here now, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that we all supported to be president, has been given the opportunity. What are the results?” he said.
El-Rufai lamented that Nigeria has moved the exchange rate from N400 to N1,600.
Kabiru Marafa also complained that 30 million people have fallen into poverty.
El-Rufai was one of the key supporters of Bola Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election.
