Scores of pupils and teachers were kidnapped by terrorists at LGEA Primary School, Kuriga (1), Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Thursday. The abduction occurred around 8:20 am, right after the morning assembly. Residents fled for safety as the gunmen fired shots indiscriminately. The headteacher of the school and several staff members were reportedly among those taken captive.
