The Anambra Muslim community recently expressed their unwavering support for Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate in the 2023 general election. They firmly believe in his potential to lead Nigeria and become its President one day, citing his inclusive gestures and respect for all religions in the country.

During Mr. Obi’s visits to mosques in Onitsha and Awka to share in breaking the Ramadan fast with the communities, he distributed bags of rice and made monetary donations, which further endeared him to the Muslim populace.
