President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate suspension of raw shea nut exports from Nigeria.
The directive from President Bola was announced in a statement released on Tuesday by Mr. Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President).
According to the statement, the export of raw shea nuts and shea butter will be halted until further notice.
The Vice-President Kashim Shettima is currently meeting with key stakeholders to work out how the presidential directive will be implemented.
