President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has unveiled a N200 billion Presidential Intervention Fund for Micro, Small, and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) and manufacturers in Nigeria. Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite, announced this in Abuja. The fund allocates N75 billion each to MSMEs and the manufacturing sector. The government aims to boost economic growth and industrial development through this initiative. The disbursement process for MSMEs and manufacturers follows the success of the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme for nano businesses. The Trade Grants Scheme, which targets small businesses without repayment obligations, prioritizes women, youths, people with disabilities, and senior citizens.
