Senate Moves Forward: No Halt in Tax Reform Debate
The South—South causes of the Nigeria Senate have held an indoor emergency meeting to bolster support for the tax Bills presented by the Nigerian president. The National Assembly has been divided following contentions over the VAT provisions in the proposed tax reform bills.

Announcing their decision in a communique on Thursday, after the meeting on Wednesday, Lawmakers hailed the landmark tax reform bills, citing that they would enhance national revenue and foster economic stability.
