Shettima, who is leading the Nigerian Government delegation tasked with returning Buhari’s remains to the country, also met with the late President’s children.
Photos circulating on social media capture the Vice President with the former First Lady and her children, all visibly in mourning.
It was reported that Buhari died while receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness in London, United Kingdom, on Sunday.
