Benjamin Kalu, the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, has urged the people of the South East to support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
According to Kalu, the president has done a great job in the South East, but the region needs do more than just accept his government.
While launching the Renewed Hope Partners, or RHP, headquarters in Abia State, he made the calls in Umuahia.
The Deputy Speaker pointed out that the Tinubu-led government should be welcomed and supported in order to ensure continuity in 2027, stating that the RHP’s goal is to integrate the area into the nation’s mainstream politics.

In order to accomplish this, Kalu stated that he would launch initiatives to vigorously inform South-East households and communities about the impressive accomplishments of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He added that backing President Bola Ahmed both now and in 2027 will benefit the South East more.
As plans for 2027 polls gradually take shape, different groups have declared their support for Tinubu ahead of the upcoming elections while other coalition and opposition groups seek to strengthen alliance to unseat the ruling APC.
