“Stay Away!” APC Leader Warns Wike Over Rivers Feud

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has criticized the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, following a recent interview with Lere Olayinka, his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications.

In the interview, Olayinka stated that the presidential ambitions of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar are at the heart of the internal conflict within the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Eze labeled Wike’s viewpoint as a mistaken perception, highly illogical, and inconsistent with the established facts regarding the issue. “I confidently assert that Wike’s criticism of Atiku is irrational, misleading, and simply a result of prideful spite, driven by delusion and Atikuphobia,” Eze stated in a release on Monday.

Eze, who is part of the APC Legacy Projects Media Team, remarked that Wike’s recent disparagement of Atiku was not unexpected, considering that Nigerians are aware Wike is attempting to remain favorable to President Bola Tinubu.

“From an objective and truthful perspective, many Nigerians perceive Wike as a self-proclaimed tyrant and dictator, who insists on having ultimate authority,” he remarked.

“If Wike were genuinely a good person, peace-loving, and a progressive democrat, he wouldn’t be at odds with Siminalaye Fubara, whom the people of Rivers State elected to lead them.

“If I were Fubara, the Governor of Rivers, Wike would be taking a risk by entering the state.

“After serving for eight years, Wike refuses to allow anyone else to lead unless Fubara does so under his dictates and control. It’s disheartening, frustrating, and infuriating for Nigerians to have faith in someone like Wike.

“The former Governor of Rivers State is, in fact, the originator of the ongoing crisis that is weakening the PDP due to his self-serving agenda.

“As a direct result of selfishness and fear of the future, Wike, who is a member of the PDP, is also, in reality and through his actions, a member of the ruling APC.

“Throughout Wike’s career as a local government chairman, Chief of Staff to Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Education (State), and Governor of Rivers State, Atiku did not harm the PDP. It is the PDP that provided Wike the opportunity to become what he is today. Had anyone actually destroyed the PDP, would Wike even be a player in Nigeria’s political landscape today? Certainly not.

“At this point, I urge Wike to abandon his political maneuvers aimed at Atiku as they are set to fail and will merely lead him to a political grave.”
