President Bola Tinubu has justified his recent foreign trips, stating that each engagement is aimed at advancing Nigeria’s success and prosperity.
According to Tinubu, his visits to Japan and Brazil focused on creating opportunities to stimulate economic growth and generate employment for Nigerians.
He shared this via a post on X shortly after returning from a 10-day bilateral mission that included stops in Brazil, Japan, and a brief visit to Los Angeles, United States.
According to him, the trips were motivated by the determination to boost prosperity for Nigerians.
“Every handshake, every agreement, and every meeting is guided by one goal: to secure opportunities that translate into growth, jobs, and prosperity for Nigerians,” he said.
In Japan, the president said that Nigeria deepened ties that would attract investments in industry, technology, and human capital.
Similarly, while in Brazil, Tinubu stated that the partnerships forged would aid Nigeria’s trade, agriculture, aviation, and finance and strengthen confidence in the nation’s economy.
“In Japan, we deepened ties that will bring new investments in industry, technology, and human capital. In Brazil, we advanced partnerships in trade, agriculture, aviation, and finance.
“This is the new Nigeria we are building together, a Nigeria built on sustainable reforms that will outlast us rather than one built on rhetoric,” he added.
