President Bola Tinubu has reassured Nigerians that his government is steadfast in its resolve to bring peace, law, and order back to the country, especially in areas where insecurity has occurred.
This guarantee was provided by Tinubu on Tuesday during the opening of new housing units in Kaduna State through Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Advisor, or NSA.
The housing project, which was created in collaboration with the Qatar Charity Organisation, intends to restore and revitalise areas that have been damaged by violent attacks and banditry.

“Nigeria is in safe hands, and we will restore law and order. That is an assurance we are giving. It will be done,” the President declared.
He said that significant strides had been achieved in bringing peace back to Kaduna State, characterising the current climate as one of growing stability and hope.
Tinubu emphasised that the needs of citizens, particularly those who have been displaced or injured by violence and insecurity, must be given top priority by the government.

“Recovery is ongoing, and it is clear that fresh air is blowing through Kaduna State. Things are changing,”
“We are wiping the tears of victims of extreme violence. We are reconciling communities and creating a sense of inclusion for all,” he said.
He praised the Chief of Defence Staff, the NSA’s office, and the Kaduna State Government for using both kinetic and non-kinetic tactics in tandem.

Additionally, Tinubu praised the “Kaduna Peace Model” as a locally developed, community-based, and intelligence-led strategy for resolving security issues in a sustainable manner.
He cited the return of displaced farmers to their ancestral lands and the reopening of Birnin Gwari Market as concrete examples of advancement.
Reiterating the government’s commitment to providing long-lasting, transformative initiatives, Tinubu thanked Qatar Charity for their contribution.
“This fight against terrorism is a challenge, but addressing it is a top priority under our national security agenda,” he said.
