Controversial street pop musician Portable has opened up on why he feels it’s important to return to school.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Portable discussed the need to balance fame with professionalism.
The singer, who holds an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, revealed that his decision to further his education is motivated by a desire to better manage and advance his career.

“I wan go back to school. I want to finish my education. I dey sponsor people’s children and my own children too. I don’t want my children to [be] mocked that their father is illiterate.
“I didn’t collect the certificate for the ND programme that I did in Kwara State Polytechnic. But as I don make am now, I wan go back to school. So that I will be able to manage my music career better, and it will also help in my dealing with people,” he said.
