Tiwa Savage Reveals Bold Desire: ‘I Want More Male Children’ in Heartfelt Interview

Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has opened up about her personal life, expressing her desire to expand her family.

In a recent interview with US podcaster Joe Budden, the award-winning singer revealed that she has stopped freezing her eggs and is now seriously considering having more children.

The ‘Somebody’s Son’ singer, who is already a mother, shared her strong wish to have male children and admitted that she had previously frozen her eggs to preserve her options.

“I want more children, boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy,” shesaid.

Tiwa began her career as a backup vocalist for global icons such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige before returning to Nigeria to establish herself as a solo artist.

She rose to fame in the early 2010s with chart-topping hits like Kele Kele Love and Eminado, carving a niche as one of the most influential female voices in Afrobeats.

Beyond her music, Tiwa has often been candid about her personal life, including her experiences as a single mother.
