The legal team representing reality TV star Sheggz has presented financial records in response to claims made by lawyers representing his former partner, Bella.
According to the legal response, an audit of Sheggz’s UK bank account revealed that about £220,000 of his personal funds was spent in the United Kingdom during the course of their relationship.
The lawyers argued that Sheggz was the main financial provider throughout the relationship, while acknowledging that Bella had her own income and also contributed financially.
They further claimed that following Bella’s eviction from the Big Brother Naija house, Sheggz rented accommodation for her for two months at an estimated cost of N3.5 million per month, bringing the total expenditure to about N7 million.
The legal team also alleged that Bella later secured a rented apartment in Ikate, Lekki, but eventually left the property and moved into Sheggz’s residence in Ikoyi.
According to the lawyers, Sheggz subsequently took responsibility for Bella’s living expenses while she stayed at his residence.
