Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has criticised journalist Rufai Oseni over his recent interview with fellow rapper Blaqbonez.
In a strongly worded post, Odumodublvck questioned Rufai’s approach to the interview and suggested that the journalist may have been paid, while acknowledging that he had no evidence to support the claim.
“Maybe you were paid. I do not know. But for a seasoned journalist like yourself to not be able to decode a pathological liar, who is also a sexual abuser by fact, it was appalling to watch,” he wrote.
The rapper accused Blaqbonez of making several false claims during the interview and alleged that he repeatedly avoided providing direct responses to important questions.
Odumodublvck also criticised Rufai’s interviewing style, arguing that the journalist did not subject Blaqbonez to the same level of scrutiny he often applies when interviewing politicians and other public figures.
Taking his criticism further on Instagram, the rapper mocked the journalist’s performance, writing: “Rufai sat there with his ugly muffler asking questions he never got full answers for.”
He concluded his post with a sarcastic suggestion that Rufai should consider taking up a role with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as a sports director because, in his words, “you play too much.”
