Popular Nigerian influencer, VeryDarkMan, and singer Seun Kuti have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The move comes amid VeryDarkMan’s ongoing legal dispute with Blord and has fueled speculation of a possible fallout between the two on social media.
Although the exact reason behind their rift remains unclear, Seun Kuti appeared to take a jab at VeryDarkMan’s fanbase—popularly called “Ratel”—in a viral Instagram story on Wednesday.
He wrote, “You are rats, not ratels. Why una dey disguise?”
This development comes just weeks after VeryDarkMan publicly backed Seun Kuti during his clash with Wizkid over alleged disrespect toward the legacy of his father, Fela Kuti.
According to reports, VeryDarkMan—once known to be a close associate of Seun Kuti—recently visited Fela Kuti’s gravesite, where he reportedly performed a ritual involving a ram.
